Field Trip to A local Farm

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Dept have started to do Virtual Field Trips on their Facebook page. Last week they visited The Simon’s Family Farm. They took a tour of the grounds & learned about Slow Moving Vehicle Safety.

This website is purely for reading activities. Students or parents can search up specific books and authors and have book read aloud to them from story tellers. Sometimes there is the option to add follow up comprehension questions to complete or discuss at the end of the book as well. 


Virtual Tour Of The Boston Children’s Museum

Powered by Google Maps, this virtual field trip is pretty close to the real deal. Virtual visitors can “step” through the museum’s three levels and even walk through the queue, but you won’t find any lines here. They have also provided resources to play and learn at home while you can’t venture out to the museum.
