Cody Mac was born and raised in Upstate, NY.  He went to school at SUNY Oswego for broadcasting, and has been lucky enough to find his dream job working for Galaxy Media.

What’s the best part of your job?

Playing music for people, its what I have wanted to do since I was a kid and meeting some of my favorite bands has been a pretty sweet bonus.

Favorite concert you’ve seen?

Any one where I can actually SEE the bands and not have to stare at  the back of someones head.


What’s waiting for you on your DVR?
I tend to DVR things even if I can watch them live.  Right now a bunch of Workaholics episodes and Funny or Dies Billy on the Street. 

Who would play you in a movie? Why?

Zack Galafanakis…I have been mistaken for him a million times

Favorite things about CNY?

Sorta sounds crazy but, I love the weather. The winters are never as bad as people make them out to be and summer and fall around the CNY are awesome.  There always seems to be something awesome going on.  Like Krockathon, the BEST part of the summer.

If somebody gave you an elephant, what would you do with it?

Ride it like a horse as my pet

What were you like as a child

Everyone of my report cards said I talked to much in class so I guess its fitting im in radio.

Favorite breakfast food?

It doesn’t even have to be breakfast, but cereal  I have like 6 boxes in my pantry right now and that’s not counting the other 3 already open.

What do you hate? What do you love?

Bills, not people named William, but paying bills…I love wrestling and gummy products…I guess family too I guess I enjoy them

What would you find in your refrigerator right now?

Beer, Kool-aid, some assorted sharp cheeses and like 15 different hot sauces, also miracle whip, I love that stuff

What is the last book that you read?

If by book you mean TV and by read you mean watched, then whatever sporting event I could find.

What are your hobbies?

I love wrestling, yea know like the WWE stuff, in fact I would say I am borderline obsessed.  I also love radio and old radio programs like Amos and Andy and Buck Rogers.
