What is the last book you read?
I’m now reading Rudeness and Civility: Manners in 19th Century Urban America by John Kasson. Fascinating history of the development of etiquette. I am hoping to someday become a Gentleman’s Gentleman, such as Alfred is to Bruce Wayne. May I, with your kind permission, proceed? Thank you.
What would you find in your refrigerator right now?
Cream-colored coneys and crisp apple strudels; pretzels and cheese balls and schnitzel with noodles. Sounds odd but these are a few of my favorite things.
What do you love?
Ben and Jerry’s Bonnaroo Buzz (Coffee & Malt Ice Creams with Toffee Chunks & a Whiskey Caramel Swirl). I’m gonna get some right now……………………….. I’m back.
What were you like as a child?
Beleeve it or not, I was a speling bee champ…. OK, maybe not.
What super power would you have if you were a superhero?
Flying. I already have x-ray vision (Hey, I can see your underwear! Nice …).
If somebody gave you an elephant, what would you do with it?
No problem, since the kids moved out we have a spare bedroom.
Who would play you in a movie?
George Clooney! That’s my choice. But probably it will be Paul Giamatti.
If you were a famous artist, what would be on your backstage tour rider?
See “What do you love?” above.
If you could stage the ultimate tour of any band (living or dead) who would it involve?
The Beatles.
Favorite concert you’ve seen?
Bruce Springsteen in December 1980.
What’s the best part of your job?
Getting paid to have fun.
