- What are your hobbies?
- Antique radios (figures, I’m in radio), reading and movies (especially history and space exploration… I love Apollo stuff… favorite film is Apollo 13… about the only one I can watch over and over.)
- 3 things we need to know about you are:
- Well, if you don’t mind, how about a couple things I’m really proud of? My son, Trevor, who’s a hard working guy and just starting a family; and my private pilot’s license.
- What is the last book you read?
- The Last Man on the Moon, Eugene Cernan
- What would you find in your refrigerator right now?
- Diet Coke, Corona Light, a couple of limes, and Healthy Choice meals (trying to lose weight!)
- If somebody gave you an elephant, what would you do with it?
- Who came up with these crazy questions!?!
- Worst job you ever had?
- Worked in a butcher shop when I was a kid… uggh! But I know how to pick out a great steak.
- What’s one thing you cannot go a day without?
- Something sweet to eat!
- What’s waiting for you on your DVR?
- Nothing. I just turn the tube on and ‘go around’ with the remote control. If I see something that looks good I stay there for a while. Until the commercials. There are way, way too many commercials! And I hate when they turn up the volume on the commercials! Maybe I should use a DVR!
- Favorite concert you’ve seen?
- Oh, that’s a tough one… have to be Paul McCartney where I was about 50 feet from the stage. No… James Taylor… he’s great… I’ve seen him a few times. Or maybe the Doobie Brothers, yah, that’s it. Oh, wait… I’ve got it! This is the one… it was seeing my son’s band, when he was a teenager, open up for Leslie West and Blue Oyster Cult. I couldn’t have cared less about Leslie and BOC… but seeing Trev singing on stage… now that was a proud dad moment for me! By far, my favorite concert!
- What’s the best part of your job?
- I get to play music for a living! How great is that!? And all the free food!! (seems to be a theme about food here… I know… look, just stop bringing in the cookies and cakes and donuts and pastries! I can’t resist!)
